A FIRST- CLASS ERA

Nothing in the world is better than life in college although to some people it's one hell of a ride. But everyone loves college because each one of us is after something. Some people could be after freedom that they never had back at home because of curfews while others could be after parties,girls or boys and others could just be after their dreams and knowledge.Everyone has a story to tell.Moreover it's a far-fetched expedition that the years one has to spend in college are memorable; one would go back to when he/she is done with it.Some even attempt to overstay their time because it's enjoyable. However to some extent this life could be bitter. People could turn against you, abandon you or mislead you. At this stage we would all feel like giving up and some of us actually do it. Would you?

Some of us join groups in order to fit in or get noticed because we feel that we cannot match up to others or we are mediocre or substandard. Therefore we go ahead and transform ourselves; fancy outfits, shoes, a cool swag in order to be like so and so or gain popularity. But that's where most of us go wrong because  we stop focusing on what really brought us here in the first place instead we focus on competing with the likes of others.

College could be manipulative if we are focusing on other peoples lives and not our lives.However not everyone joins a group for the sake of fitting in or being cool.Some of us join groups because we have found people we have things in common with or because they treat us nicely. Or some of us need people to turn to when we have a problem or when we are lonely.

 
Furthermore the people in college are filled with life, their energetic, happy and busy with their studies.
It makes us feel like we are ambassadors and that other people out there envy us and look up to us. Although to a smaller extent others are lazy, others are unhappy and others are never busy with their studies.
Most of the peoples relationships are intimate and filled with affection.One could enjoy watching couples pair up in campus. It reminds some of us that love exists and its real although some unfortunate couples end up in tears and others regretful.

Majority of the people in campus are from different backgrounds and others are from different races. College is a mixed place. Friends are awesome and sincere; always ready to give out a helping hand when needed although some of them are back stabbers and traitors.
In addition the restaurants in campus and cafeterias are spectacular and the food is delicious, you can't stop eating it.

The whole entity is just one that can be duplicated elsewhere. Ones your done there's no turning back.
And it's being young that makes it work the way it does.
My experience so far has been good and i have learn t a lot. This is the place i want to be in although at first i felt out of place because am in a new place and am surrounded with new faces and a new culture. But all in all it's a journey most people have to go through.
College is a new chapter and a new experience. Lets live it.
